In view of the increasingly pronounced climate change and the associated goal of climate neutrality, the exclusive use of renewable energies is the only solution that will enable us as a society and humanity to keep the effects of these far-reaching climate changes as low as possible. The current climate models and the latest report from the IPCC show that we only have a very small time-window of around 10 years to keep the projected increase in average temperature below 2°C.

The events since February 24, 2022, also show us that we, as a society with a basic democratic attitude, need pushing ahead with the phase-out of fossil energies. This is especially applicable for fossil gas and oil, not only primarily for environmental reasons, but also for political and social motives. That must be implemented with high pressure and very quickly.

It must therefore be our goal to do everything what is possible to use renewable energies, in all areas of our daily lives, and thus drastically reduce and ultimately completely avoid the emission of greenhouse gases, primarily CO2 from fossil fuels. Conversely, this means that we not only have to change our behaviour, but also take technical measures that work in this direction.

Room heating and hot water supply with heat pumps is the future technology for modern residential construction, but also very often suitable for the renovation of existing buildings. Surface heating systems, but also radiators can be used. It is essential that the components are coordinated with one another; a thermal analysis of the building to evaluate the energy requirement is necessary in any case when used in an old building.

Since 2012, it has been mandatory in Austria to present an energy certificate when selling or handing over a building - see also the Energy Pass Template Act 2012.

This applies to entire buildings as well as to individual apartments in multi-party houses.

As an independent engineering office that is not obligated to any construction company, real estate developer or real estate agent, I will create an energy certificate for you within the meaning of this law for all types of buildings. The most modern tools and current climate models are used so that you can always be sure that your energy certificate meets the requirements of the relevant standards and regulations.

Some data is required to calculate the energy performance certificate. You can either send me this using the online form and upload it, or send me the completed form, which is available for download here, as well as the other necessary documents by e-mail.

You will receive your new energy certificate electronically to the announced email, after receipt of payment, within 2-5 working days. The costs for the calculation and possible additional services that may be associated with the issuance of the energy certificate can be found in the current Price List.

Since 2022, consumers and producers have been able to join forces to form energy communities (EEG), both regionally and nationally, for both electricity and heat.

This makes it possible, for example, to implement a joint PV system in multi-party houses that is not dependent on feeding its entire yield into the grid of the energy supplier (EVU), but rather covers its own consumption fairly and equitably from its own generation and bills or bills accordingly. Only the surplus can then be fed into the grid or sold to other participants in the energy community.
